On the occasion of the 24th "World First Aid Day" on September 9, 2023, in order to respond to the call to pay attention to the popularization of first aid knowledge and ensure safe production, the Inno Catheter "World First Aid Day" themed event was held on the morning of September 8. Specially invited Professional teachers from the Nantong Red Cross Society conducted a comprehensive and lively practical training on first aid knowledge for company employees.
The training combines theoretical explanations + practical exercises, and is rich in content and easy to understand. The course includes explanations of first aid knowledge, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillator (AED) operation steps and key points, and the Heimlich maneuver.
Practical operation is a test of theoretical learning and is the key to whether it can be applied in emergencies in the future. The training teacher uses human models and instruments to demonstrate on-site and allows students to operate, while the teacher provides correction and guidance. After multiple rounds of drills, all trainees passed the operational assessment.
After the training, everyone said that this was a very meaningful learning and practical activity. They understood and mastered new knowledge and skills. It is undoubtedly happy and noble to be able to use what they have learned to save the lives of others in an emergency.
The company leaders attached great importance to this activity. Thirty-five student representatives from each department were sent to participate in the training and assessment, and other personnel also participated in the study in the form of observation.
Whether at home, at work or in daily life, we must not take it lightly, bear in mind social responsibilities, actively learn and publicize first aid knowledge, and improve our own emergency capabilities.
